Monday July 5th and Tuesday July 6th 2004

The Royal Court Hotel, Warwickshire

Guidelines for contributors

Paper Guidelines (and Accompanying Abstract)

All papers should be on the conference themes of Widening Participation and Employability, or related themes.

Where possible, each paper should follow the same structure:

Please complete the Pro-forma for paper presentations. The completed pro-forma should be sent to Steve Gaskin (sgaskin@plymouth.ac.uk) in word (.doc) or Rich Text Format (.rtf) by May 17th 2004. We will inform you about whether we have accepted your paper by the end of May 2004.

As for presenting the paper, each speaker will have 15 minutes and 5 minutes for questions and wider discussion. Presenters should note that these timings will be strictly adhered to by our chairs for the sessions. OHP and Powerpoint facilities will be available (GEES SC encourage delegates to bring a back-up of their Powerpoint presentation as OHTs, should any technical difficulties arise on the day.) Please feel free to bring extra handouts.

To encourage participation we will be offering a prize to the 1st abstract received, the 5th, 10th, 15th and so on...
