- Encourage a policy of Pedagogic Research within institutions and departments and promote importance of Pedagogic Research in National Policy

- LTSN to put pressure on Academy to develop teaching and research nexus
- Carry out more work at the post-graduate Level
- Monitor (lack of?) pre-92 department engagement with LTSN
- Keep an eye on SHEFC themes and act where necessary

Responses were:
- Use learning styles questionnaire in year 1 tutorials
- Reflect more on students. Prior learning experiences (collect data). Using VLE
- Collect pedagogic data systematically when opportunities arise esp. when using learning styles questionnaire
- Reflect more on the relationship between teaching and learning
- Think about producing pedagogic research resource briefings
- As leader of a pedagogic research forum, more emphasis on different values pedagogic research has: evaluation/empowering/informing decision making
- Research: Consider the wider possible options for methodologies to use.
- Provide time in class (at start or where necessary) to be explicit about why something is being done the way it is.
- Ask questions about pedagogic research - what's the structure and strategy in department
- Continue work PG Cert in HE - more discipline more forcefully, focus
- Make people aware of resources available, build active research community
- Undergraduate journal to invigorate student society
- Disseminate case studies presented at conference to Bioscience
