Swap Shop on Innovations in Learning and Teaching
Friday 19th March 2004 (1100-1230)
The CHES Learning and Teaching Sub Committee in association with the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES) Education Committee is hosting a Swap Shop on 'Innovations in Learning & Teaching' within Environmental Sciences.
The Swap Shop will take place at the Royal Geographical Society on Friday, 19th March 2004 as part of the CHES Annual Conference.
Short presentations (10/15 minutes) are invited on any topic, the list below giving some ideas:
- E-Learning
- Learning Outcomes and Assessment
- Student Feedback
- Employability
- Recruitment
- Retention
- Masters Programmes
The Swap Shop format aims to provide a supportive forum for practitioners to share, develop and enhance their ideas and practices but it also encourages practitioners to write up their ideas in the form of an abstract that can then be submitted to the LTSN-GEES Resource Database.
Deadline for receipt of any computer based programme presentations (eg powerpoint)
is Friday 12th March 2004.
