Conference Programme themes

The conference will focus on the development of strategic international links, especially in the UK , USA and Canadian content but also with an attempt to extend similar provision across in the EU.

To achieve this, the conference will not only discuss long term strategic development but also examine (and, hopefully, create) enhanced information exchange brokerages in the areas of:

Teaching (e.g. common areas provision, ‘virtual’ postgraduate course partnerships and joint degree provision, facilitating staff/student exchanges etc.

Research (e.g. collaborative investigations / partner searches, sabbatical opportunities, available scholarships / studentships etc).

Administration (academic searches, advertising employment , opportunities, conference details etc).

To facilitate this strategic collaboration and information brokerage, Speakers have been invited;

The Conference will also focus on current UK issues – RAE, QAA, opportunities for virtual collaboration of masters programmes and representatives include:

Naturally, being in Ireland for St. Patrick’s Day, the conference will also Include social recreation (and educational!) visits. And to offer opportunities for extended individual stays in Ireland (to cover e.g. research, recreational, ancestor interests).
