GEES Scotland Networking Event

20 April 2005 Macdonald Holyrood Hotel, Edinburgh

Post Event Update:

Please find notes from the GEES Subject Centre regional networking meeting (MS Word - 40kb) held in Edinburgh last Wednesday. Thanks to everyone who came along particularly to David Lines, Stuart Monro, Hamish Ross and Gordon Walkden for their contributions.

At the end of the meeting we briefly discussed ways forward for GEES’s support of Scotland and its unique HE perspective. In the first instance, we will be producing annotated lists of resources under each of the Quality Enhancement Themes. In addition, colleagues are reminded that they are very welcome to bid for our small-scale project funding (next round to be announced shortly), to apply for a departmental workshop, use our Resource Database and attend any of our events.

We’d very much welcome new ideas, we’re keen to move beyond the common ‘conferences, workshops and guides’ format where appropriate. Please also forward any other ideas from colleagues in your department.
