Learning for Sustainable Futures - skills for social and environmental responsibility

23/24 March 2006 Liverpool

This residential event is a major part of a project involving staff and students across a range of subject areas* to develop resources that can be used by academics and support staff responsible for curricula in these areas. The two-day event will consist of working through a problem scenario that raises sustainability/CSR issues, using case studies, role play, fieldwork and simulations. Participation with experts and local companies will ensure realism.

* This collaborative project with two other subject centres will involve staff and students from Hospitality, Sport, Leisure, Tourism, Sociology, Anthropology and Politics, as well as Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences
