Innovations in Field Teaching
Friday April 25 to Sunday 27th 2008 - Slapton Ley Field Centre, Devon
A GEES Subject Centre / Experiential Learning CETL event in association with the RGS-IBG Higher Education Research Group
This meeting will take place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th April 2008, at the Field Studies Council, (FSC) Field Centre Slapton, Devon. It will take the form of field-based workshop sessions with opportunities for formal and informal discussion in the evenings. The focus is very much on how we use the area for teaching and learning, innovative approaches, ideal field sites for particular activities etc. as well as the more mundane issues of site access and permissions. We have had several offers of contributions, which we now need to firm up, but there is still room for a few more.
