Global and Local Citizenship

The GEES Subject Centre is committed to supporting student learning of globally and locally critical issues particularly where they relate to the human and physical environment. We see an understanding of these issues to be important to society in general as well as to practitioners in the GEES disciplines. Whatever line of work our graduates choose to go in to, they should take with them this understanding; in this context, global and local citizenship is also clearly linked to graduate employability.
