Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) within Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences

During the first half of 2005, the GEES Subject Centre took part in a project run by the Higher Education Academy in which 18 out of the 24 subject centres participated to explore understandings, potentials and current practice in the field of ESD. The findings from a Focus Group held in April 2005, with GEES academics who expressed an interest in this, are outlined in a Report on phase I of the GEES Subject Centre ESD project (MS Word 98kb).
